Here you will find a rare gemstone in the garnet family. Known as the Leuco Garnet. This is the colorless variety of grossular garnet. The garnets here are from Sri Lanka unless noted. (pure grossular garnet) These stones may have naturals that give them rough spots on the exterior of the stone. Most of these spots aren't visible with the naked eye but can be easily be seen under magnification. The reason for this is: with the rarity of colorless garnets the cutters where saving as much of the stone as possible. Which caused them to run into the rougher part of the rough stone on the outer rim of the finished stone.
